- Mohammad Nawaz is set to play in his 50th game in T20I cricket, in doing so he will become the 20th Pakistani player to achieve 50 caps in the format; he is also four away from scalping his 50th wicket in the format (46 currently), thus becoming the 11th bowler for the Shaheens to do so.

- Mohammad Rizwad (46) is four away from becoming the second Pakistani wicket-keeper to register 50 dismissals in men’s T20I cricket (Kamran Akmal – 60); he has however never registered four dismissals in an innings in the format before.
