Darcie Brown is one of the fastest and most exciting young fast bowlers in world cricket, renowned for her raw pace and ability to trouble even the best batters. Hailing from South Australia, she has quickly become a key figure in Australia’s dominant pace attack, bringing youthful energy and genuine speed to the side.

She made her domestic List A debut for South Australia in the 2020–21 Women’s National Cricket League season and her T20 debut for Adelaide Strikers in the 2020–21 Women’s Big Bash League. She picked up three wickets on debut and announced herself to the world. Brown’s standout performances in the WBBL, where she consistently clocked high speeds and claimed big wickets, established her as one of the brightest talents in Australian cricket.

Brown earned her first international cap in March 2021, debuting in ODIs against New Zealand at just 18 years old. She made an immediate impact with her pace, later breaking into Australia’s T20I and Test squads the same year.
