Keemo Paul to Gulbadin Naib. Full toss, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, to deep mid wicket for 1 run, fielded by Hetmyer.

That was an excellent final over from Keemo Paul but Afghanistan will still be pretty happy with their total. Rahmanullah Gurbaz smashed a career best 79, before some late cameos helped them to 156/8. West Indies were not at their best in the field with some dropped catches and fumbles costing them dearly. It should be an exciting chase next with the series on the line.

That could be a crucial moment in the context of the match, Nabi is capable of fireworks at the death.

Afghanistan have clinched the T20I series against the West Indies 2-1 thanks to a comprehensive 29 run victory this evening in Lucknow. Rahmanullah Gurbaz got them going with a powerful 79, hitting five towering sixes despite losing wickets at the other end. He rode his luck at times but cashed in to register a career best in this format. West Indies never really got going in response. Chasing 157, Shai Hope tried to hold the innings together with the required run rate always on the rise. In the end the target was too much with parsimonious Afghanistan spin complemented by Naveen-ul-Haq's wily variations. We swap from white ball to red on this tour now, with the Test match scheduled to start at this same venue in ten days time.
