Finally, we are back for the run chase. The umpires are back out in the middle, and so are the players of Jamaica Kingsmen, who are being marshalled by Rovman Powell. It will be the pairing of Evin Lewis and Rahkeem Cornwall to open the innings for Antigua & Barbuda Falcons. It will be Saim Ayub to kick things off with the ball, with his off-spin. Let's go...
The chase is about to get underway soon, but let's turn our attention to something different. The Caribbean Premier League has just announced the 'CPL Hall of Fame,' and Dwayne Bravo is the first-ever inductee. Bravo is an all-time T20 great, not just in the CPL but all across the globe, and Trinbago Knight Riders even retired his jersey number 47 as a gesture. Along with Bravo, commentator Ian Bishop was also inducted into the CPL Hall of Fame as its first-ever non-player. He received the induction for lending his voice to plenty of great moments throughout the history of this competition.

A thrilling chase on the cards - Righto, 171 is the target for the Falcons. The Kensington Oval is generally a chasing ground, and one would think that the pitch will get better for batting in the second half, especially if there's dew. However, runs on the board in a final matter more than usual, so that will even things out a bit more. Can Antigua & Barbuda Falcons clinch their first CPL title? Let's hear from Jamaica's saviour - Maaz Sadaqat opens by expressing immense happiness after breaking and setting multiple records on such a high-stakes match day. Reflecting on his performance, he shares credit with the team management for giving him the freedom to play his natural game, which allowed him to successfully execute his personal game plan out in the middle.When asked about the middle-order collapse where wickets tumbled at the other end, he admits feeling the pressure but emphasizes that maintaining self-belief and waiting patiently for the right balls to attack pulled him through. He ends by sharing his thoughts on the overall CPL environment, noting that as a tournament debutant, he is thoroughly enjoying his first stint in the league.
Moqim, the game-changer - Antigua & Barbuda Falcons started decently with the ball as Alzarri Joseph and Jayden Seales both got an early wicket, but let things slip towards the end of the Powerplay. They failed to get their teeth into the game for a few more overs, but once Sufyan Moqim was introduced into the attack in the 12th over, things changed drastically. Moqim went on to claim 4 wickets, including a couple of big scalps. Towards the end, the pacers did a decent job of closing things out and Alzarri Joseph also picked up two wickets in total. Shadab Khan showed great control in the middle phase and overall, it was a bit of a mixed bag of a performance from the Falcons' bowlers.
Sadaqat stands tall - Maaz Sadaqat made plenty of history en route to a sensational 114 off just 58 balls. He's now made two centuries in the playoffs of this CPL season and it is the first time a Pakistani batter has scored a century in the final of a T20 League, as mentioned by the on-air commentators. Apart from Maaz, only Saim Ayub showed some fight and mustered up some runs. No one else even got into double digits, and yet the Kingsmen have a pretty decent score on the board. However, going from 97/2 after 10 overs to 170/9 at the end of 20 overs is a bit of a collapse for sure.
An engrossing first half - Well, that lasted a long time, but probably worth it. The first innings takes nearly 2 hours to complete, and at the halfway mark, things are nicely balanced. Remember, the highest chase in a CPL Final is 162, so Jamaica Kingsmen will be happy with 170 runs on the board.
BYE! Back of a length, outside off, Vitel Lawes goes for a wild swing, but the ball beats the outside edge. Hunain Shah starts running from the other end, as soon as the bowler releases the ball. Amir Jangoo misses the direct hit at the batter's end, the batter completes a bye run. Jamaica Kingsmen end up posting 170 runs on the board.

OUT! TAKEN! The dressing room of the Kingsmen are up on their feet to applaud this masterpiece. After the great start, the team fumbled in the middle overs, losing wickets, but Maaz Sadaqat stood out to keep his innings on the run from the other end. A well-disguised slower one, fuller and wide outside off. Sadaqat charges down the track, swinging for the fences over long-off, but the lack of pace completely ruins his timing. It hangs high in the air, falling well short of the boundary, Joshua James settles underneath and takes a calm, clean catch. Shadab Khan gives him a warm hug as Sadaqat trudges back to the pavilion after scoring 114 off 58 balls.

An excellent over from Alzarri Joseph! Just two runs and a wicket from the penultimate over. Bends his back and offers another bouncer, outside off. Hunain Shah tries to pull it away, but it bounces over the willow.

OUT! CAUGHT! Alzarri Joseph gets a crucial wicket here, eliminating Andre Russell, before he starts any of his destruction. Joseph bangs hard onto the length and generates enough bounce to bother the batter. Andre Russell takes a small leap to pull it away, but the ball climbs big on him and catches the upper part of the bat before it loops toward long on, where Shadab Khan makes no mistake in catching it.
WIDE! Fuller in length, but sprays it wide outside off, beyond the tramline. Maaz looks to lash it away but misses with a large gap.

FOUR! That's pinged off the blade. Hard length but wide of the off stump, Lewis gets his hands through the ball and powers it over covers for a boundary. The Falcons are 28/1 after 2.
Good bumper! Dug in short over the leg stump, around shoulder height and Lewis ducks a bit under it.
A slight hesitation, but no harm is done. Back of a length, in and around off. Lewis hops back and dabs it in front of covers. The batters look for the single, but rightly decide against it.
Oh, that's a huge swing and a miss. Fullish length around off, swing back in a bit. Lewis looks to whack it over cow corner but is beaten past the inside edge.
A pearler of a comeback delivery from Russell. Full and fast, speared in at the toes and there's some late swing into the left-hander as well. Lewis just about manages to jam it out on the leg side. There is an appeal for LBW, but it is turned down. However, Rovman Powell has reviewed it. Surely, there was an inside edge on it, right? The third umpire checks UltraEdge, and there's a massive inside edge before the ball hits the boot. Excellent on-field decision, and Jamaica lose an early review as well. Not Out!
FOUR! Evin Lewis starts off just as Cornwall did. Length ball on off, angling away. Lewis plants the front foot ahead and launches it well over mid off for a one-bounce boundary.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! Saim Ayub has the last laugh here, and that is a poor decision made by Cornwall, absolutely unnecessary. Ayub goes fuller, honing in on off and middle. Rahkeem Cornwall gets too far across to the off side as he tries to sweep it fine and ends up playing all around it. The ball sneaks under the bat and rattles into the stumps. What a start to the chase - 20 runs and a wicket off the first over.
SIX! Oh, that is a sensational shot from Cornwall. Flighted ball, wide of the off stump. Rahkeem Cornwall gives himself a bit of room and picks the carrom ball, hitting with the turn and over extra cover for another biggie. 20 off the first over already.
SIX! In the slot and punished! Full and straight, Cornwall clears the front leg and just clubs it across the line, clearing wide long on for a biggie.

FOUR! That's really been bludgeoned away. Quick and short, on middle. Cornwall rocks back and transfers his weight well, before slamming it wide of mid on for another boundary.
FOUR! Not off the middle of the blade, but it does go to the fence. The carrom ball, full and moving away from off and middle. Rahkeem Cornwall takes the front leg out and looks to loft it straight but skews it over covers for a boundary to get going.
