Zimbabwe will be pretty happy with that effort, especially after Bangladesh were cruising effortlessly at one stage. Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan both notched up half centuries as the hosts nullified the early assistance for the seamers, laying a solid platform from which to build. However, an inspired spell from Graeme Cremer saw the visiting captain take four wickets to spark a collapse. Kyle Jarvis also chipped in with three scalps, and in the end Bangladesh did well to make more than 200. This will still be a challenging total on a wicket offering variable bounce and turn, so it should be an exciting chase.

Bangladesh continue their winning form thanks to an outstanding bowling display today. They came out all fired up after their below par batting effort, reducing the Zimbabwe batting order to rubble through a mixture of seam and spin. Sikandar Raza was the only man to offer any real resistance, his 39 was the top score for the abject tourists. All of the bowlers chipped in for Bangladesh and some reckless strokeplay helped them along the way. Graeme Cremer's side will have to hope for a big Sri Lankan loss on Thursday and net run rate to go their way.
