Advantage the Tridents? Barbados Tridents need 151 for the win, and Jamaica Kingsmen have left a few runs out there with the bat. Maaz Sadaqat started off really well and after an early wicket, Maaz got some support from Usman Khan as well. Once Usman got out, wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the Kingsmen never managed to get a grip on the innings. They huffed and puffed to 150, but will now a big performance with the ball. There is also a bit of rain around, so it will be interesting to see whether the surface continues to grip or if the rain freshens it up, allowing the ball to slide onto the bat better. Let's now hear from Barbados' pace sensation - Jakeem Pollard says that he is very happy with the team's performance, and he is happy to have come back after a poor first over. On his collision early on, he says that he is one of the strike bowlers for the team and had to come back. He also adds that his body is a bit sore and talks about the crowd, mentioning he is happy to be playing in front of such a big crowd.
Pace off worked like a charm - With every passing over in the first innings, the ball started to grip more and more. Chris Green bowled a very economical spell as the likes of AM Ghazanfar and Gudakesh Motie racked up the wickets. However, in the latter half of the innings, the Barbados Tridents pacers used the slower ball to excellent effect and Jakeem Pollard came back strongly after an expensive first over to end with 3 wickets. Shadrack Descarte was highly economical but didn't get a wicket, unfortunately.
The Kingsmen hobble to a milestone - This has been a solid performance with the ball and in the field from Barbados Tridents, but Jamaica Kingsmen have reached 150 runs, which actually could be defendable given the sluggish nature of the surface. Overall, though, the Tridents will be the happier of the two sides, because it is a middling total at the end of the day.
OUT! VITEL LAWES IS RUN OUT! Daniel Sams ends with a wide delivery, full and slow too, landing it just inside the tramline. Odean Smith fails to jam it out and Vitel Lawes is quick to set off for the bye. Lawes is next to Smith before he even realizes it and Quinton de Kock lobs the ball back to the bowler. Smith pats the bat back down in the crease and Daniel Sams takes off the bails, which means Lawes is run out here. Jamaica Kingsmen finish with 150/9 on the board.
Sams should have stopped that. Slightly into the pitch, on off, Lawes hits it back down the pitch. Sams deflects it off the left hand towards mid on and the batters scamper through for the single. 150 up for Jamaica Kingsmen as well.

OUT! CAUGHT! A lovely piece of fielding from the big guy and Daniel Sams gets his second wicket. Sama takes pace off again, pitching it full and wide of the off stump. Hassan Khan stays back and swings hard at it, losing his shape and slicing it down to short third. Zachary Carter moves down to his left andsnaffles it with both hands. Jamaica Kingsmen are 145/8 now.

Barbados Tridents and the Jamaica Kingsmen are locked in to face each other all over again in the high-stakes Eliminator knockout match. However, before that blockbuster showdown, the Tridents have one final piece of league business to take care of as they gear up to face the table-topping Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final group-stage fixture. Barbados Tridents captain - Chris Green says he is tired as it is way too late and notes they have a lot of depth down to Motie, calling it what a game he had and saying he deserves all the credit he got tonight. He says Descarte has been brilliant since he came in and is showing his flexibility, adding that they have used him up the order and he has grabbed the opportunity with both hands. He says he still does not think they have played their best cricket and there is a good opportunity tomorrow to keep learning, so they need to rest, recuperate and keep growing and learning, and he is really grateful for everyone who stayed behind.
Jamaica Kingsmen captain - Rovman Powell says qualifying was their first objective and it came down to small margins where fielding let them down, noting that 150 on a wicket like that was a good score. He says it is always nice to play at Kensington and that Barbados is like his second home, and hopefully his team can find a few wins in the next few days. He says it is a case of trying to control different areas and a lot of times the middle overs take care of themselves, and with 17 needed in the last over, they maybe should have won, but these things happen, adding that both games against the Tridents came down to the last ball.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH - Gudakesh Motie wins the award for his all-round performance. He took 2 for 7 off his 3 overs and played a match-winning knock of 17 off 8 balls. Motie says it was an all-round performance by his team, and regarding the last over, a message was sent by the coaches for him to face all six deliveries with a clear plan to look for early boundaries, which he managed to get, so he is really happy with it. On being asked if he is an all-rounder now, he says he has been doing a lot of work on his batting and is happy it is paying off. Speaking about playing in front of a passionate crowd, he says he was really excited in the beginning and is feeling happy as they knew how important this game was, and he wants to thank the crowd for coming out every game, every day to support them. On his plan for that surface, he says they started a little earlier and it did help the spinners, and he was just trying to hold his lengths and not bowl too fast because when he bowls too fast, batters can line him up, and when asked if he can repeat this performance against his former team in less than 20 hours, he chuckles and says he will try his best.

The middle-order offered little resistance, and the team slumped further to a precarious 76 for 5 by the 14th over.
