  • End of Over 19
Over 19. 9 runs. Bowler: Seth Rance. West Indies: 140/10 (rr 7.37)
  • 18.6
    சாமுவேல் பத்ரீ lbw b Seth Rance 2 (3)

OUT! L.B.W. Verified by umpire after REFERRAL. Seth Rance to Samuel Badree. Yorker, middle stump on the front foot flick, hit pad. All over. Perfect yorker from the debutant, and it is too good for the number eleven. The ball slides past the bat to hit flush on the boot in front of middle. A review taken in hope, but it was absolutely plumb.

The T20I series starts as the other two formats have done, and in fact every game between these two sides in the past few weeks. This Kiwi team is just far better than their opposition. Colin Munro and Glenn Phillips stood out with the bat, and there were contributions from everyone with the ball.

The West Indies are way behind on skill level in these conditions, but can they make a miraculous recovery to take the series to a decider? Join us on Monday to find out.

OUT! Caught. Tim Southee to Jerome Taylor. Slower ball short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to mid wicket, by Bruce. There you go. A slower ball bumper from Southee this time, and Taylor mis-hits it straight up in the air. High off the bat and spooned up to mid wicket for a simple take.

  • 17.5

FOUR! Tim Southee to Jerome Taylor. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, top edge in the air uncontrolled past fine leg for 4 runs. Over the keeper's head again. Taylor is taking on the bouncers and getting away with it. This will only last so long though.

  • 15.6

SIX! Mitchell Santner to Jerome Taylor. Stock ball half volley, off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control over long off for 6 runs. Nearly a spectacular catch from Bracewell on the boundary edge. Nailed out to him at long off, he jumps up and holds on, but he steps on the rope at the same time to give Taylor six runs.

Mitchell Santner to Jerome Taylor. Stock length ball, off stump on the back foot pushing, to silly point for no runs, fielded by Taylor.

  • 15.4
Kesrick Williams c Glenn Phillips b Mitchell Santner 3 (5)

OUT! Caught. Mitchell Santner to Kesrick Williams. Stock ball back of a length, outside off stump down the track pushing, Gloved to wicketkeeper, fielded by Phillips. Santner is far too good for Williams there. He entices the tailender down the pitch, who obliges to the temptation, and ends up being made to look a fool. Nowhere near the pitch, pokes the bat out, and the ball flicks the glove through to the keeper. Phillips dislodges the bails too, but the catch was taken first.

  • 14.6

SIX! Tim Southee to Ashley Nurse. Short, outside off stump on the back foot hooking, top edge in the air uncontrolled over fine leg for 6 runs. Nurse swings hard, gets a big top edge, and it initially looked as though it was going to be pouched at long leg. The wind took the ball over the ropes though to add six runs to the total.

Tim Southee to Kesrick Williams. Short, outside off stump on the back foot Late Cut, to third man for 1 run, fielded by Sodhi.

  • 14.4
    ராவர்மன் போவெல் c Glenn Phillips b Tim Southee 6 (9)

OUT! Caught. Tim Southee to Rovman Powell. Length ball, outside off stump on the back foot Late Cut, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Phillips. Another one bites the dust! Powell tries to run this delivery down to third man for a single, but gets an edge through to the keeper, who takes a smart catch diving low to his right.

  • 14.3

OUT! Caught. Tim Southee to Carlos Brathwaite. Length ball, outside off stump moves in front driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on, by Bruce. Some lovely catching practice for Bruce at long on. Brathwaite shuffles across his crease, hardly seemed to put any force behind it, and just chipped the ball down the throat of the fielder. Easily taken. Shambolic batting.
