Rohit Sharma is one of the most destructive batsmen India has ever produced in the white-ball format. Born on April 30 , 1987 in Nagpur, Rohit first represented India at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup in 2006. His achievements include winning the T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa and also the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 in England. He has already created a legacy of his own in the limited-overs format and some of his feats put him in an entirely different league from the rest.The exceptionally talented batter is known for his effortless and graceful style of batting. He holds the world record for the highest individual score in ODIs. He scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 2014. He was also the highest run-scorer in the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England and slammed 5 centuries - most by any batter.Rohit has won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa with India. He has also been a Finalist at the T20 World Cup in 2014 in Bangladesh. He has won the Asia Cup in 2016 and 2018 as well.The right-handed batter from Mumbai is the only cricketer to have slammed three double hundreds in the ODIs. He is known for slamming daddy hundreds and his conversion rate after scoring a ton makes him a dangerouns batter. Before ICC T20 World Cup 2022, Rohit slammed four T20I centuries - most by any cricketer.
