FOUR! Tom Curran to Shimron Hetmyer. Slower ball half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs.

Windies have completely annihilated England in St Lucia to draw the ODI series 2-2, coasting to their target with seven wickets left and a massive 227 balls remaining. The match was set up by the fast bowlers who utilised a bouncy surface expertly, with fast and hostile spells making life really difficult for the English batsmen. Oshane Thomas was the star, picking up his maiden five wicket haul in ODIs as the tourists were bundled out for just 113 in 28.1 overs. Amazingly, that meant England went from their highest total against the Windies in ODIs to their lowest in the space of three days. In response, Chris Gayle came out all guns blazing in his final ODI appearance in the Caribbean. He blasted the fastest ever half century by a West Indian in an ODI, taking just 19 deliveries to reach the landmark, as the party started to get rowdy in the afternoon Gros Islet sun. In the end we didn't even need the dinner break as the hosts cruised to 115/3 from just 12.1 overs, meaning there were just about 40 overs in the match.

No one would have given the Windies much chance in this series a couple of weeks ago but they have exceeded all expectations, continuing the momentum from the Test series to boost their hopes ahead of the upcoming World Cup. England have plenty to ponder, however they know that they will be much stronger in the familiar conditions of home come May. After a dramatic Test series, the ODI series has been equally absorbing with some incredible performances. The good news is that there is plenty more to come from these two exciting sides because the T20I series starts in St Lucia on Tuesday night.

OUT! Bowled. Chris Woakes to Shai Hope. Slower length ball, off stump on the front foot Slog, missed to. That's an ugly heave, Hope was trying to take a leaf out of Gayle's book but there can only be one universe boss. Woakes got his slower ball to move away in the air slightly which was enough to take it past the outside edge and clip off stump. Subdued celebrations from England.

    கிறிஸ் கெயில் b Mark Wood 77 (27)

OUT! Bowled. Mark Wood to Chris Gayle. Off cutter back of a length, outside off stump backing away pulling, missed to. Deceived by the slower ball, Wood gets his revenge but it's too little too late for the English. Gayle leaves the field for the last time in an ODI in the Caribbean and he receives a fantastic ovasion. What a legend he has been over the years for the Windies and what a way to sign off on home soil.

  • 7.5

SIX! Mark Wood to Chris Gayle. Short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control over deep square leg for 6 runs. Boom, that's a colossal blow for yet another maximum. Gayle must have some plans for this afternoon because he clearly wants to get this over and done with.

  • 7.4

FOUR! Mark Wood to Chris Gayle. Full toss, down leg side backing away working, inside edge past fine leg for 4 runs. Not exactly where he wanted it to go but fortune favours the brave.
