OUT! Run Out. Tim Southee to Krishnappa Gowtham. Yorker, wide outside off stump moves in front driving, missed to wicketkeeper, fielded by Patel, by Southee. They try to scamper through for a bye but keeper and bowler to combine to save the extra run, who knows how crucial that could turn out to be.

With the attention of the world on the Royals in the UK, the Royals in Jaipur have posted a competitive 164/5 from their 20 overs. Rahul Tripathi married power with placement, batting through the innings for an unbeaten 80 of high class. Umesh Yadav was outstanding with the ball, claiming 3/25 from his allocation, including a maiden as well.

OUT! Caught. Jaydev Unadkat to Mohammed Siraj. Off cutter length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, by Gowtham, dropped catch by Samson. That's gone a mile into the night sky, Samson settles underneath it but can't hold on. Gowtham is aware of the situation though to snaffle the ball on the rebound and save the blushes of his mate. Rajasthan Royals win, Royal Challengers Bangalore are eliminated.

What a match we have just witnessed. With the eyes of the world on the Royals in England, the Royals in Jaipur are equally deserving of our attention after an extraordinary display tonight. RCB seemed to be running away with things with AB de Villiers and Parthiv Patel cruising along, before legspin was introduced with a devastating effect. Shreyas Gopal ripped through the visitors middle order, taking 4/16 in one of the best bowling spells of the season. Heinrich Klaasen was on fire with the gloves, three stumpings and an outstanding one-handed catch for him. That all came after a composed knock by Rahul Tripathi set things up for the hosts. The Royals will now be keeping a close eye on other results, whereas it's back to the drawing board for RCB after another disappointing season.

Easily taken in the deep, Rajasthan are just one wicket away from victory now as Southee has to trudge off. It was an agricultural shot by the Kiwi and the timing was all wrong.

    உமேஷ் யாதவ் b Ben Laughlin 0 (1)

OUT! Bowled. Ben Laughlin to Umesh Yadav. Half volley, middle stump on the front foot driving, missed to. Full, fast and straight - timber. Laughlin has two in two as he sends one roaring through Umesh to flatten the off peg. The batsman was expecting a slower one but Laughlin has completely bamboozled him.

    ஷரஃராஸ் கான் c Heinrich Klaasen b Ben Laughlin 7 (8)

OUT! Caught. Ben Laughlin to Sarfaraz Khan. Off cutter length ball, outside off stump on the back foot Steer, to wicketkeeper, by Klaasen. What a sensational grab, Klaasen is having a superb day with the gloves. Sarfaraz was just looking to guide this to third man but gets it finer than anticipated, and the South African soars to his right to pouch it with one hand. Surely that is the final nail in the coffin.
